The Royal Pavilion Hua Hin is located in the center of Hua Hin, within walking distance of the daily market, the night market, and about a 10-minute walk from the coast.
The hotel is easily accessible by car, about 50 meters from the main road, Thanon Petchkasem.

The welcome is pleasant and efficient. Within a few minutes, everything is arranged, and we can go to our room. Our luggage is brought to the room.

Our room is a standard room on the 6th floor.
The room is 32 square meters. The colors used are white and cream, which gives it a spacious feel.
The room includes a refrigerator with water, a safe, and a kettle with instant coffee and tea. The bed is very large, a very comfortable double box spring. There is also a sofa, a coffee table, and a flat-screen TV. The lock is an electronic lock with a key card. The air conditioning works well but is difficult to control. The indoor unit is virtually silent, while the outdoor unit is very noisy.
The bathroom is spacious enough, with a Western-style toilet with a hand shower, a sink with ample storage space, and a handheld shower. An electric heater provides hot water, and there is plenty of hot water. There are four towels and soap and shampoo dispensers.
The room also has a small balcony, but we believe it is only suitable for smoking.
Each room is decorated in the same style, but each one is slightly different.

Breakfast is a buffet, and the coffee is decent. There are a few Thai dishes, as well as Western food, and three types of bread with only jam and honey as toppings. We would expect better from a 4-star hotel, as they call themselves.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel. The hotel has a restaurant, a breakfast room, a swimming pool, and parking. The restaurant and a bar are on the top floor; we didn't visit these.
